Bishop Barry. [Newspaper Article] — The Moruya Times and South Coast Journal — 28 August 1889

Bishop Barry. The attack of the Chureh 7\'me» on Bishop Barry, shortly after be arrived in England to Uke np his new work in Bochester, is, the Pall if aU Gmtlte thinks, in very ques tionable taste. ' It is both unfair in intention and untrue in fact. Unfair to insinuate that ne is a renegaae irom jmgn Church prinoij-'es benvuso he adapted him self to his Australian democratic environ- y-J ment, and cultivated friendly relations with othor Christian churches, and untrue to des cribe his colonial career as a failure because for domestic reasons he was 'constrained- to bring it to a close after five years' service. Tbe presence of representative Congregation alists, Wesleyans and Presbyterians on his farewell platform in 8ydney was an eloquent testimony to. the success of Bishop Barry's colonial labours in the field of fraternal Christianity.1'

The Horse's Feet, [Newspaper Article] — The Moruya Times and South Coast Journal — 28 August 1889

Tbe Horse's Feet, ' I am afraid the majority of farmers are not believers in the old and true saying that a good grooming is as good aa a food, hat tliero is another thing a farmer studying his horse's comfort and his own good may add to groomiug, and that is cleaning ont the feet. ' Especially during this -wat weather, if a man. will tafee the trourjieto clean oui n» noree» feet (particularly after being on the road), he will tiud numerous stones caked in with tbe dirt, and which, unless taken «nt, ore likely to remain for some time during the wet weather, and perhaps cause lameness. Five minutes' work in an evening is surely well repaid in giving your horse comfort, and cooling his feet. After ploughing, small stones will often be found round the frog, eventhoughthehorsebe not shod.' Martin's Home and sarm,
