Wilhelm Soliman , a former member of the German cabinet under Gustav Streseman was the first in a series of lectures being arranged for the students and and friends of Lincoln University . Mr . _Sollmann , now a member of the faculty at the Pendle Hill School , spoke on the subject , Europe Aflame on Thursday , October 12 , 1939 . He brought into clearer focus its course of the present conflagration , and explained the Russian-German Pact .
