A large crowd so large the building wouldn't hold it assem bled at the Baptist church Satur day night, to witness the gener osity of Satita Claus and to listen to the entertainment. Misses Laws and Taylor had drilled the children in songs, recitations, dialogues and marches, and nil acquitted themselves in a credit able manner. At the conclusion of the enter tainment old Santa Claus made his appearance, and impartially distributed gifts to all the chil dren and man' of the grown peo ple.'
