Morris Cnhill, formerly a miner of Butte, now n temporary citizen of Tono pah, Nevada, lias written John Mel ville, of Wnlkerville, n letter concerning Tonopah. In the epistle Mr. Cahill says that a mining company operating thero has let a contract for piping water into Tonopah from a point fifty miles away. The water is to supply the InlmhitantH of the town and a 100-stump mill which the company Intends to erect. He says it will take a year to build the mill, as all the machinery and other supplies will have to lie freighted sixty-throe miles.
