My present nock originated irom 1UU ewes pur chased in Wntcrtown, Conn., in' 1822, certified to be pure Spanish Merinos, from Col. Humphrey's importation. In 1830 1 built abarn formy breeding cwrs. The barn was 52 by 5T feci a wall on the one siJe, boarded on tho 6thcr side end both ends ; ft douols door at one end, the other part was open in fair weather. The space from the pround to tho beams above was ciht feet. Hay over the sheep; of htc years, we have our lambs ooiiia bclore tho sheep are turned out.
