Fulkereon met Mr. CoATirJen in front of the Richmond Post oIHjc, and proceeded to eane h?m with a small hickory cane, until the two closed, and were then parted. Cowardin, son of the Editor of the Dispatch, having come from Washington city for the purpose of espousing his father's qnarrel opening a hostile correspondencewith Col. Fulkerson. The lattler gentleman declined to recognise him unless Mr. Cowarden, Sr., would confess unwillingness by reason of inability, or incapacity to seek his own redress.
