ALLEGED SHEEP-STEALING. FURTHER REMARKABLE DISCOVERIES. MILLICENT (S.A.).' Tuesday. Detective Allchurch is still inquiring into the circumstances connected with the dis covery of "the tiger's lair" at Tantanooia. On Saturday, nciing on information receiv ed. Allchurch found five additional corrals in dense jungle, all within a mile of the cam]) occupied by the arersled man Ed mondson. One enclosure had been used as a shearing pen. The sheep' had been liber ated after the wool had been removed. In the other four pens, all of which were moat ingeniously concealed, the detectlvc found, bodies of sheep in small numbers, while skins were found drying on wires. Information has been' elicited from the same source that a thousand sheep were to be brought from Coola station next year and shorn in a specially-constructed shear ing pen, after which the thieves intended "to turn the game up."
