The report was, unfortunately, too true, and we need nr t say that the individual referred to was Mr. M'Nainnra .Russell,- who has been brought before the B-jnch'' at Wagga- IVagga and committed for trial for the offence. FIVE BROTHERS' FIVE FIXES. HARRY THE SOLDIER'S FIX. [Newspaper Article] — The Gundagai Times and Tumut, Adelong and Murrumbidgee District Advertiser — 19 December 1868

FIVE BROTHERS' FIVE FIXES. ) HAJUIY THE SOLDIBE'S FIX. Before I begin to lay before the reader tha fix which our brother Harry described to us as beins; the biggest ho had ever met with, I would just mention that he had two little peculiarities — one of temperament, the other of habit. By temperament, he was most merciful and excitable. Full of boisterous health, he had, in early days, nlways been in mischief, more from the fun of the thing than from any wish to do what was wrong ; and the same high spirits which in boyhuod caused him to be the leader in many it scrape, and to he the leader in many a scrape, nt.d to be fore most in bearing the brnnt of the punishment thereof, were possibly the chief causes of his ..being honourably mentioned after Alma; and of his bearing a name well known wherever Crimean deeds have been recited. More I must not say. Temple is an assumed name. Were I to write more particulars about Harry and the Crimea, his real name would most Certainly be recogni...
