The stock market opened with a firmer feeling thu mowing, but gave way as the day wore on, and dosed weak, so far as all speculative shares were concerned , _Citr sixes were in demand at 98 for railroad issues, and oould have been largely sold at that figure, but holders were disposed to look for still higher figures. The money market is without change Capital provei to be abundant -whenever undoubted _securities and tempting rates of interest combine to test its existence, but its holders are timid in the extreme, and only firstolass credit can command loans. This distrust on the part of moneyed men is vroduomg a systematic) hoarding of money among t'adesmeo, who avail themselvei of every excuse and _tubterfuge to avoid settling bills, even when they have the means of doing so in hind_.
