Landrum hnd occasion to visit n pationt east of the railroad, and after lie left the house he drove tip in front of the First Nationnl bank, and was about to Ret out of Lis buggy, when his horse got scared at one of those yellow cov ers, which was spread over one of the fire horses that was plnyiug in the street. The doctor started to get out and went to put his foot on the stflj whon his horse gave a bound and stiirtod to run, turning as ho did so. The maneuver was so sudden that it threw the doctor out, caus ing him to fall principally upon his head. lie was picked up by his friends in an uneonteiou condition, and Dr. MoNeo was soon at his side. Restoratives were applied and the patient soon regained conscious ness, but the concussion was very great and the patient was vomiting blood last night.
