This county is thirty miles square ftnd contains 570,010 acres. It has a population of 15,000 ; has seven flour ing mills; one creamery, fourteen church buildings and twenty four church organizations, one hundred and twenty-two school houses and no fa loons. The land is rolling, especially in the northern part of the county, but x very small portion of it too broken for cultivation. It is well watered, there being twenty four living streams of water in the county . The wells are from 18 to 25 feet deep on the low lauds, and from oU to Go on the up lands. There is considerable timber in this county : there is an abundance of Magnesiun limestono of a superior quality much used in building.
