M«m SOTII. Vates. SYDNEY, Muten 5. The annual demonstration of the Miners' Association took place at New- castle to-day. There was an attendance of fully 2000. Speeches were made hy J. Fletcher, M.L.A., and others, who strongly condemned the despatch of troops to the Soudan. An inquest was commenced to-day regavding Margaret Capel and Maria Nessie, who were killed hy the collision ot" the steamers Iberia, and Nemesis during the embarkation of troops for Suakin. The evidence went to prove tliat the porting of the Iberia's helm caused the accident by throwing the port quarter of the Iberia on the star- board bow of the Nemesis, while the Iberia was attempting to avoid other boat*. Take from the churn so much of the butter as can be handled con- veniently at a time, and place it in water, or brine, at about sixty degrees, and free it from butter-milk by pressing it with the back of the ladle till it is flattened...
