Union at Gympie recently, the following statement, that tU» Woombye A. grade team refused to fire off a tie oe. North Ann range .'?» decided by the L. D. R. Union Council. It is miite true we refused to lire off the match on North Arm range, but it is equally untrue that the Council de cided that the match should be, ftrp-J off on that range, because the mitter was never brought before the Coun cil to enable it to discuss or dcci'l? either for or against. The fact are: I met Mr. Jefferson, secretary of the Union, and discussed the matter. Informing him that we would not meet North Arm on their own range, but assurred him that v»v would willingly meet them on any neu tral range, and suggesting Nambour range as being the most suitable to both clubs.
