Dear Sir,-A stranger travelling over the roads in Darlingford district, aould he fairly justified in coming to the con. clusion that it formed Iort of no man's land. It in now over 20 years since this locality ban been directly represented on the Alexandra Shire Council. The late Mir Edward Kelly represented the district for many years. Frequent attempts aere made to induce hlu son, Mr '. Kelly to offer himself for election, but always met a refusal. The annual municipal election is now close at hund and Dtrlingford district has strong hopes of again having a representative at the council table.
