THE WORLD WILL GET YOUR NUMBER The world is full of people who live their lives upon the theory that they can fool the world ( Abraham Lincoln to the contrary notwithstanding ) . The worst fooled man in the world is he who fools himself , for sooner or later the world gets every man s number and every man s measure .
