To the Editor of the Eagle: Could the old revolutionary heroes look from the battlements of glory and see the universality with which Independence Day is observed, it would send a thrill of joy through each patriotic eouI. The morning dawned bright and fair, and by 9 a. m. the streets were lull of people, When formed at l(fc30, the procesion in close order was over a milo long.
