He was afraid, be ssiid, to ship the hogs without having them in sured, and as he didn't know exactly bow to procced about such a transaction, he wanted some information from the clerk. The Burch Dirorec Case* This case, -which is almost as famous. and quite as infamous as ihe celebrated Sickles business, and wliirh bas been on trial in the rural village of Napierville, Illinois, for some three weeks, is about dosing, and bas, perhaps, already gone to the intelligent jury. The telegraph and the newspapers bare given us all the de tails of the affair.
