"That Railway Road" [Newspaper Article] — Gilgandra Weekly and Castlereagh — 17 April 1930

"That Railway Road" Moto'rists who have loccasion to use the' road between Gulargambone and Gular Railway are never alarm ed when they hear the constant rattle for the whoie 2 mile of the journey. It is of course due to the number of bumps and ruts they manage to find during the trip. It is really about time the Council put the grader over this section, as; it has been in its present state, since the. rainfall ef January last. The road across the plain is by far the better of the two, and with the main road in it's present state a great many motorists prefer j to use it. Perhaps if a number of the ratepayers -sent a petition to the Shire Council, some appreciable re sul'; would possibly accure.
