WELSHPOOL The rilli; match between tlio Colling wood riilo club niitl Welshpool took place under very rough squally wea ther conditions on Saturday, 11th inst., on the Welshpool nmge. The visitors arrived by Friday's train, and shooting commenced at ten o'clock on Saturday morning, sixteen men aside, SQO and GOO yds. Cold south-west rain squalls were frequent throughout the day, which made so ores low at the longer distance. The visiting team proved far. too good for the local team, and won the match by 85 points, the best thirteen scores counting. In fact) of the bad weather the ladies, numbering nearly twenty, turned out and pro vided afternoon tea on the range, whiuh was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. At eight o'clock a dinner was tendered the visitors in the Welsh pool hall, catered for by Mr Steve Mason, of Welshpool. Fifty-nine were seated round the well supplied tables.
