From tbe returns received, it is estimated that the democratic candidate for Chief Justice is elected by a majority of ten thousaad. This is a splendid triumph Our neighbor shouted a little too soon over Wisconsin this time, and must feel a little crest fallen. The heavy Copper head majority of Milwaukee city and county which raised the hopes of onr neighbor, and eaused him to explode at a half cot k is being rapidly diminished by large Union gain in the interior ccunties, which bids fair to elect Dixon, ant i-copperhead, by the home vote. Official returns and reports, considered reliable, of the army, vote, give Dixon 0,158 majority oat of 8.374 votee.
