Hoch granted a pardon to Clyde Brown, serving a term in the Hutchin son reformatory for larceny. - Brown worked for the Rock 'Island at Good land and stole some railroad tickets. His mother has promised to take him to Colorado and look after him. Charge Against Rural Teacher. Lawrence Sims, a rural school teach er, was arrested in Shawnee county on the charge of brutally beating one of his pupils. Ralph Peck. It 13 claimed that the boy was beaten un til he was black and blue. The com plaint was sworn out by the boy's father. Child Accidentally Killed. A 3-yeaf-old son of W. S.
