It is about to expire, and it is hoped nnd believed by its friends that its soul will enter the carcass of abolitionism, and give to it new vitality nnd increas ed power for mischief. The National Era exult ingly announce that "The whigsof Ohio have magnanimously resolved lo give up their name and organization, and go fur a party of Freedom." The sentiments of the leading whig papers of Ohio cor roborate this statement.
