Tbe Fittsbnrgh Journal disbelieves the atote ment that a rule baj been inucd in the Brooke Cir cuit Court against the Pittsburgh and Steubenville Railroad company and others, on the motion of the Commonwealth, snd requiring them to show cause why an information ahould not be filed against them for illicitly invading and appropriating the territory of Virginia, for purposes unsanction ed by lau*, expressly refuted by the Legislature of the State, and in violation of the sovereignty of Virginia.
