Journal : I have to congratulato you upon the noble stand you have taken and .sustained against the iniquitous Funding Hill, and upon the success that seems to be crowning the efforts of the STATE JOURNAL, Norfolk Day Book; and the other papers in the State that have made war upon that enemy of the people. The present legislature seoms to be fully alive to their interests. They have made havoc in the ranks of the funders, antl it is to be hoped they will press on, until the bill is repealed, the means by which it was pushed through the last General Assembly may be ascertained, and tho names of the guilty published.
