AMAZING SUICIDE BY STUDENT Elaborate Plan to Give Impression of Murder POLICE RECONSTRUCT SCENE LONDON, February 25. If the conclusions reacted to- night by the police and college authorities are correct, Francis Ellis, the 19-year-old freshman, who was found dead in his bedroom at ( Sidney Susses College, Cambridge, i staged one of the most amazing . suicides on record. < The theory is that hs committed sui- ' cide by suffocating himself after hae- t ing gagged and bound himself; such j an elaborate ceremony being intended £ to give the impression that he had been * murdered. * The "Daily Telegraph" says this con- j viciaon is the outcome of a full considc- c ration of the circumstances in which t the body was found, a reconstruction < of the drama by Scotland Yard, and a j detailed report of Sir Bernard Spils- t bury's post-mortem. Lying Against Door j The full story of the grim tragedy is * almost inconceivable. I Ellis dined in the hall at 620 pjn. on * Sun...
