United Presbyterian Theotogieal Seminaries.—The United Presbyterian Theological Seminary, in Allegheny City, has just issued a neat Catalogue for the present season. This institution has 72 students in attendance. The _Seminary of the same Church at- Xenia, Ohio, has 32 students; and the one at Moumoutb, 111., 22—total 126." This indicates a high degree of prosperifey in thjs branch of the Church of Christ. Graduates of these Seminaries are now _i engaged in the work of missions in Syria, India, China, and Egypt; and among their present students, the churches expect to find several for the for_^y_^n field.

The Affair at _Ennteisfille. : ' Cincinnati, Jan. 6.—-The_; CornmerdaVs dispatch from _HuttorivUle says that Huntersville was the depot for the supplies of Western Virginia. ' Their cavalry was armed with " Sharp's carbine's, and attacked us two miles from Huntersville. We drove theriiifrom point to point. Finally they beat a hasty, retreat out of; the town as we charged through it. Their supplies, consisting of 850 barrels of flour, 3dO salted beeves? 3,000 barrels of salt, large quantities of sugar, coffee, riee, bacon and; army clothing, worth from $25,000 to $30,000, . were destroyed.
