Tbs undersigned, a Cosaxtittee appointby s meeting of the members of the society for the promotion of Agriculture in Susquehsna county, held at the Court House oa thu 29th, August last, to nuke tha necessary preliminary arrangements for the Plowing Match determined upon by tbe Society, hereby give notice that they have selected a piece of ground on the .form of David Post, Esq. and have appointed the following named gentlemen judge for tbc occasion—vix. New Jer-I scy, about forty miles from Newark snd I eight from Wnodsport, St the head of one the feeders of tho Morris Canal. There are two important mines, vix: Mine Hill. t. v owned by tbe Sussex Manufacturing C»i pany. and Sterling, owned by the New Jet acy Exploring Citmpany. The latter company was chartered by the Legislature of New Jersey st its last session.
