O* The removal of our office, and other business matters, have prevented our giving much attention to to-day's paper. The Weather.—The weather for the past two days has been exceedingly warm. Saturday, the thermometer stood 105 in the shade, and yesterday as high as 109 degrees; a gentle breeze, however, renders the dwellings and stores quite comfortable when they are well ventilated. The evenings are delightfully cool and pleasant, and are rendered the more agreeable after the excessive heat of the day. We do not anticipate that long continued excessive heat which some have predicted for this valley. We prefer the present weather to the hot, sultry atmosphere which characterizes the summer in some of the Atlantic States—and one nights are seasons of perfect luxury in the way of, repose by reason of their delightful coolness. OThere is at this time scarcely a foot of the gold-bearing tributaries of the Yuba, Feather, and American rivers, tha; has not already been claimed and occupie...
