B. J. Chapman Passes Away At Family Home BENJAMIN F Chapman Passes.. Benjamin F. Chapman, retired, of 1223 N. Avenue 56, passed away March 30, at the family home where he has resided for ■the past 31 years. Mr. Chapman was 80 years of age, born at Manchester, Vermont, on October 11, 1861. Funeral services were held April 1, at the Wee Kirk of the Heather, Forest Lawn; Dr. Don Householder of Trinity M. E. Church conducting. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lusina A. Chapman; two sons, Paul F. and Fayette C. of Highland Park; one daughter, Mrs. Mae Cleveland, of Compton; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, all of Los Angeles and vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Chapman celebrated their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary last October 8. In 1910 they came to Highland Park and purchased their residence at 1223 N. Avenue 56, where they have resided these many years.
