INQUEST AT KADINA. On Sunday afternoon, Dec. 9, 1888, an inquest was held to inquire into the cause of the death of William Bouweus. before Mr Jas. Martin, J.P., and a jury, of whom Mr A. F. Taylor was chosen foreman. The following evidence was taken. Alfred Williamson-Am an ostler. .at the Royal Exchange hotel, KaHina Knew the deceased, William Bouwens. now lying in a C6ll at the police station. The deceased used to frequent the Exchange hotel, and do odd jobs. Saw him yesterday evening about 6 30 p-m. at tbe hotel. I left then for Moonta. Re turned this (Sunday) morning, about half past twelve o'clock. Saw the deceased then lying on some chaff bass in the stable. Did not speak to him as I thought he was fast asleep.
