There was a large at tendance at the re-opening services, when the President of the Methodist Conference, the Rev John Thomas, | B.A., preached both morning and evening. On the following evening a pleas ing social was held, when a- hearty welcome was given to the Rev John Thomas by the adherents of the church throughout (he circuit. 1 The Rev W. Clemens was in the chair. He pourtrayed the great measure of success tiiat had attended therr efforts since his. arrival in the circuit.
