There waa a quite a serious riot in Portland on Friday and Saturday nights, tho 7th and fth inat.. which resulted In the burning of the boase of a colored man named King, which was tbe resort of abandoned women and their customers. Tbe hoase was mobbed some weeks since, and several ehota from a cannon fired mto it.— On Friday a party who bad got Into a carousal near tba hoase of King, were Ired upon from the boase which led to a general attack upon it by tbe mob, and coon after a cannon was procured aad repeatedly trad into tba boase, crammed to the meaab with stones.
