The prosecution aleged that the _defendant obtained a bill of goods by _repressnting that his brother was in partnership with him, and that he (the brother) owned real estate in Burlington This statement is alleged to be false. Judge Ludlow refused to discharge A cumber of desertion oases were disposed of, and the court adjourned. Saturday, _ths 16th inst., ia fixed for tbe arguing of the motion for a new trial in the case of Thomas J Armstrong, convicted of murder.
