They have been for more than two weeks; but even yet some of our people seem on able to realize it. It is doubtful which is the prouder of the fact these twocities or Mooringaport. In fact the three feel so jubilant that they determined to celebrate the joy ous event by a barbecue and picnic at the hamlet on:the lake. The first day of May, last Friday, was the day set apart for the occas ion, and Shreveport entered into the spirit of it, full measured.
