Proceedings of the Democratic County Central Committee. [Newspaper Article] — Visalia Weekly Delta — 11 August 1860

Proceedings of the Democratic County Central Committee. In another column will ne touim tne entire proceedings of the Committee. We trust that every National Democrat will respond to their call and see to it that the party is fully represented in the ensuing Convention. Very much of importance hangs upon the action of these primary meetings in the election of good men, and true Democrats, to select the standard hearers of the party not only in the State, hut in the County. In this all good citizens —tax payers nnd residents are interested. Let them devote one day then, to that which interests them so vitally. Experience has shown that this is the most judicious way of concentrating a unity of action upon the best men for official position. It gives the PEOPLE the primary sa y—the right to indicate who is, and who is not their first choice to fill the various offices of trust. A Senator for the 6th Senatorial District is to be elected to represent this, Fresno, Merced, and Mariposa C...
