(To the Editor of the Grenfell Record.) Sir, — Referring to a paragraph in your last issue, chronicling an accident which it is stated occurred ' in the absonce of Dr. Ryley,' and the careful manner in which Mr. Burrell dressod the wounds, which are stated to have ' presented a fearful sight,' I have to cravo your indulgence whilst I protest against my name being introduced into Mr. Burrell's puffs. 1 regiet my absence, on professional business, when the case i.i question came to town, for the first time since my arrival here (six mouths ago), but I am informed bv Mr. Loeder. who first saw and attendod to the case, that it was only one of a slight wound and swelling of the Bcalp. If the accident was a serious one, I have little doubt that I would have seen it. Only a few weeks ago, the public were informed, in a local in the Record, that a lad named Howe, son of Mr.. George Howe, builder, of this town, had his thigh broken by the wheel of a cart passing over it, and that tho fractur...

?VISIT OF JAMES WATSON, ESQ., M.L.A. , TO GRENFELL. The visit of James Watson, Esq., M.L. A. , to Grenfell, has given both pleasure and satisfac tion, not merely from the fact of his presence as Grenfell's re-elected representative to the Legis lative Assembly, but by the kind and courteous interest whioh he has shown in everything, and the trouble he has taken to bccomo acquainted with all matters connected with tho general well-1 eing of tho town.
