ROCKHAMPTON POLICE COURT. April 14. Before J. Jardine, Esq , P.M. Edward Colman WSB brought before the. court charged with burglariously entering the house of John Jones and stealing therefrom two gold ringa, relue £5, and the wira of £1 14s. The prisoner was committed to take his trial at the next Circuit Court to be held at Maryiiorough. James Smith was charged with steal- ing from John Joue= two gold rings end the sum of X1 14s, or as being acces- sory to the same. Committed to take his trial at the next Circuit Court to be held at Maryborough Henry J. Hall, charged with stealing a gold nugget, value 5s., from James Tiieobore. The prisoner was sentenced to 14 days' hard labour. April 15.-John Tobin was fined 40s for riding furiously through the public streets.
