From Mr mother. Sir] A fow days since a case came up in the United States District Court in Philadelphia in which a captain of a vssel was charged with some offense on shipboard by his crew. An incident occurred in the case which excited a deep feeling in the court and in all present. A small lad was called to the stand to testify in the ca«e.
