We cannot, however, in a c~sis where so much is at stake, view the action of the people'sdelegates with uncon cern, or permit the assembling of a conser vative convention to pass by without the tender of a little advice. It has been several years since Louisiena was governed honestly and the interests of industry protected and encouraged.
