The live stock interest of Texas ag gregate not far from $100,000,000 as in vested caoitul. Samuel L. Willis was killed last week near Lovelady by a falling limb blown from a dead tree. A pair of ox horns, sent from Texas by Mr. McKnight to Mr. Lafayette Smith, of Rutherford county, Tenu., measure C feet 6 inches from lip to Up straight across. Narrow gunge railroads a few years ago were umknown in Texas. That State now possesses 900 miles of these roads, is building as many more, and bos in prospect innumerable other lines. A man named Frost is on trial at McKinney for the murder of Warden home fifteen years ago.
