'Tho eonioronco between the two Houses of Parliament concluded its labors, coming to an, amicable under standing with tho point j disputed in the Income Taxes Assessment Bill. A little before midnight, Mr. Reid, in the Assembly, and Dr. M'Laurin, in, the Council, read the report of the confer ence, which was not debated.
