BOONOKE RAMS. [Newspaper Article] — The Independent — 13 September 1901

BOONOKE RAB1S. A representative from this journal had the pleasure of inspecting on the North Common yesterday afternoon some seventy odd two-tooth merino, rams from Boonoke Station,, to be trur.ked by the mid-day train to-day to Melbourne, thence for shipment to West Australia. The rams are of the famous Boonoke breed, of wonderful size, a beautiful shape, and carrying immense fleeces of an. extra rich type of wool, of marvellous density and nice shape, an .art for producing which seems to have reached perfec tion by the Messrs F-. S. Falkiner and Sons. These rams will be in the Rail way yards this morning, and are well worthy of inspection. A good judge who saw: them yesterday said tbey are probably the best lot of rams that ever left this district. ' '
