OMITTED THE TAIL A thistle prosecution, Wycheproof Shire v. M'Nicol Bros., which has created a good deal ot' interest, was heard at the Wycheproof Police Court before Mr. Pennei'ather, P.M. Mr. Sutherland, who appeared for defendants, took objection ta the no tice served on his clients by the in spector, stating that the property should be accurately described on the notice. He then handed in defend ant's notice, stating that instead of it reading allots. 7a and 8 it read "allot. 7oS." There was nothing in that notice concerning his clients' pi'operty, which certainly was not numbered 7o8. Mr. Guinness (for the shire)— There appears to be a small tail on the "o" between the two figures. At any rate, there was an " a " iu the original notice. MATRIMONIAL LESSER—WOOLF A wedding was celebrated at the Bourke Street Synagogue on March 25th by the Rev. Dr. Abrahams, as   sisted by the Rev. S. Solomons, be tween Cyril, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. M Lesser, of Coleraine, and Esther Gladys, elder daughter of Mrs. A. Woolf, of Canterbury. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Michel Isaacson, wore Diana satin, the bodice   composed of crepe ninon over Chan tilly lace softly draped, and caught at intervals with ropes of pearls and butterflies. The skirt was draped on one side in pannier effect, the Carrick macross lace falling into a train and finished with large pearl tassel, the train finished with lovers' knots of rouleaux and orange blossom. She wore a lovely Carrickmacross veil, the gift of her mother. Gall ; treasurer, Mr. Louis Lesser A considerable amount of time was spent in discussing the question as to whether the society should put in an exhibit (embracing the various pro ducts of the district) at the next Royal Show in Melbourne. Sir. D. Tonikins said that the sub committee appointed to consider the matter was of the opinion that the district should endeavour to make up an exhibit. The Secretary mentioned that the lloyal Society divided a substantial sum of money as prizes to those ex hibiting societies which scored 50 points out of the hundred whilst those gaining 30 points were each allowed £25 for expenses. CLUB FOR COLERAINE. A meeting of those interested 111 in -forming a club in Coleraine was held at the National Hotol 011 Satur day. Mr. J. Ilyan presided, over a fair attendance. Mr. A. Punslion was appointed lion, secretary for the evening on the motion of Messrs T. Gillespie and 0. M'Anally. .
