Road to Wombeyan Caves. [Newspaper Article] — Robertson Advocate — 20 May 1898

Road to Wombeyan Caves. Sir, — When will a long suffering public put an ead once and for ever tb the idiosyncrasy of a man who suffers from levels on the brata. ? I $otu» ^OO0 U»va«^i6 tt^mXkffiK^iSo, to the Wombeyan eaves, *n-fihU Aum is sufficient provided the grade be f in 14. It is not stated that a tramway is required, so I presume the road is to be used for vehicular traffic, and common sense woald show that a grade of 1 in 14 is quite suffi cient, and if the people interested allow this stop-gap to prevent a road with this grade being made they deserve all they may suffer, for the power Uip their hands to remov* the obstacle that erery where faeei them by the expeditnre on a. few chains of road whiob, if judiciously expended, would make a go...
