SOUTH A US'R.tLIA (From the Argus.) By the arrival of the screw steamer Havilah we are placed in possrsion of Adelaide papers to 'the 1 ct inst. The revenue returns for the quarter ending December 3ist. 1853, which had not been published at the date of our last advices, are extremely favour able. The ordinary revenue exhibits an increase of over 150 per cent. on the corresponding quartee'of the pre. vious year. -an inreuase of threel'ld greater proportionately than that of Victoria for the samte 'quarter. ' The entire ordinary reve u for the quarter was £93,711 antd lilte expenditure .£70,630. The latter item, howevr in eludes £20,106 for rords and brilges.
