FIRST SEMI-FINAL. Mannum v. Colts. Tliti Bejni-riiials of the Murray Bridge and district association took place last Saturday and Mannum (minor premiere! journeyed to Murray Bridge, and played the B'olts who occupied third place on the premiership list. Winning the toss Mannum put the home team in, but the bowlers were.soon masters of the Willow wlelders, jand after a very uninteresting exhibition the colts were All out,for 73. at which W. P. Dodd made 31, belhg the only one to show any enterprise. The .occasion appeared to be too much for the batsmen^Jiot that the trundling was anything Lo fear. A. Vivian routed 'the tailenders securing 3 for 2 in two overs while the remaining wickets were divided by Schmidt, Porter, and Tuohy. On occupying the wickets, Mannum also started badly and the first, four wickets fell ;jt 49, including two unfor tunate run outs. TENNIS.' Mannum Wins Premiership. At Mount Pleasant last' Saturday,' Mannum and Eden Valley played the final for the. premiership of the Mur ray Ranges Association. The match was viewed by a large number of spectators, and was keenly contested from start to finish. When the lost set was commenced Eden Valley was a set to the good. The set was be tween Mr. G. Truss (Mannum) and •r. T. Rayea (Eden Valley). ..ao Mannum representative won at 6—3, which made the game even sets and Mannum won the match by the eloso margin of four games. Naturally the local players were delighted -t winning the premiership.

ROWING. TEST RACE AT PORT ADELAIDE. MANNUM TO CONTEST KING'S C UP. Unfavourable weather conditions at tended the' .vowing Association's re gatta, which was set down to take place on the Port River on Saturday afternoon. The test race—to decide which crew should represent South Australia in the King's Cup contest, to be rowed at Hobart on May 7—was rowed, but on account of the condi tions the officials decided that the race should be re-rowed ou Sunday morn ing. it was seen lhat it would be useless to attempt the eight-oar cham pionship, so this event was also held 0.1 Sunday morning.
