Accounts from Canon of the 27th November, in the Portnfaijlin, Maltese, give further particulars of the frightful effects of the late earthquake in Cnndia. .The official returns have been pub lished. Of about 4,000 houses, only nine remain u'linjured. The deaths in the town numbered GOO, r.ntl in the coun try more, than 1,(500 The number of wounded is nnt stated. The village of A,jo Minis was completely destroyed : of 200 inhabitants 50 were killed.
