JUSTICE BRAND GEORGIA CANTALOUPES The first car reached Cincin natl at 8 : 00 a * m . June 22 nd . On account of dry weather tlie cantaloupes run much smaller than expected and as the car was assembled from all of the crops , the packihj * was not up to the usual high standard of the Justice brand , however , the quality and flavor was excellent . Notwithstanding the late arrival and the Saturday trade being nearly over , a good portion of the car was sold at $ 2 . 50 to $ 2 . 75 l or Standards and 82 . 00 to 82 . 50 for smaller sizes . Five additional cars were shipped last week ; four of which came via Cincinnati . Each succeeding car showed marked improvement as to size and grading . On Monday it rained and now prospects are for a better yield and better sized cantaloupes than if the drought had continued . Shipments will be heaviest the last of this week and the first ol next . With a scarcity of other fruit , cantaloupes will be in strong demand for the next two weeks . If you ...
