Severn hundred members of Hono lulu society gathered at the Country ctuo last evening in response to in vitations from Mr. Mclnerny, the club president, and the board of directors, to attend the Opening ball. The affair was in celebration of the completion of the addition to the clubhouse and wag in every way a brilliant success. The club lanal was beautifully dec orated with palms, ferns and flowers, and colored electric lights, and the soft strains, of Hawaiian 'music, and the moonlight that riocded the grounds lent much tQlhe encnantment of the Beiia late hour, and the guests red dancing until long after mid light.
