t Brief News Items of Local Interest Four kinds of Ice Cream al Stansbury & Co. , Rev. and Mrs. Wood have re turned from a visit to New York. Mr. and Mrs. L. Vallee left last Saturday for Galveston and other Texas points. Mr. and Mrs. Eusebt ledet and children left Saturday, for Sulphur where they are the guests of rela tives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Orelie Trahan and children, of Beaumont, were visit ors here during the week, gtests of friends and relatives. On the last page in the first column of this issue we have an article regarding Infantile Paralv sis, which should be read by all of all of our rerders. Recent rains, while local in char acter, have been of frequent occur rence, and it is said that practical Iv all sections of the rice belt have been visited by copious showers during the week.
